ALSAYER Participates in KOC Safe Driving Campaign 2017


ALSAYER Group Corporate Excellence department recently participated in the KOC awareness campaign for safe driving on the occasion of the World Day of Remembrance for Road Traffic Victims. Such social initiatives are in line with ALSAYER’s long commitment to develop safe and responsible driving habits through ‘Live the Moment’ campaigns, a program to alert fellow drivers to follow basic but most important driving measures such as wearing seat belt, avoid use of mobile, crossing red signal, over-speeding, reckless driving etc. 
It is crucial to know, every 10 minutes an accident happens in Kuwait! A total of 4,47,917 traffic incidents were recorded from 2012 until April 2017, and Kuwait lost 2,466 life on road. According to the National Traffic Strategy, the money spent by Kuwait to deal with accidents represents around 6 per cent of its annual gross domestic product.
